Snowy days.........





Well, up here in Durham in the snowy north east we're entering our 5th week of snow. Fed up with it now, wish it would go, although its meant i've had to walk to the local shop as haven't been able to get the car out to go to the supermarket.

My first WI of the new year and i've lost another 2lbs, things are looking up at last, long may it continue.

New year and a sts

Yep thats right, 2 weeks of festivities and i've managed to sts. To be honest i haven't really eaten loads and when i have i've tried to be good for the rest of the day. So as of yesterday i'm offically counting points again and tracking, so we'll see how much i can lose this year.



A colleague at work has set a challenge for the two of us, who can lose a stone the quickest, she reckons she can do it in a month, we'll see, i really need to stick to things if i'm going to lose that quick although for me its usually more like half a stone in a month.



So here goes...................................

Ok so i haven't posted in a while..............

well in a long while. I'm still here plodding along. Think i hit a bit of a plateau, sts and only losing 1/2 pounds here and there, which then helped with my motivation taking a nose dive. I'm still determined as ever to lose it all though so haven't given in and finally last week lost a whole pound - yay.

I have to admit i have stopped tracking although i'm still counting points in my head - i know i know, bad idea, but i have told myself and am ready to do it, that i'll start tracking again in the new year.

I have re-measure myself and am still losing the cm and plan very soon to have a new picture up of the progress. And possibly one of the works night out where my dress is absolutely stunning (if i do say so myself).
Hopefully i won't leave it as long next time.

My how i'm buzzing

First things first, thankyou to all your comments i'm feeling really positive again this week, funny how a gain can send you down. I'm loving the gym and am trying to get there at least 3 times a week if not 4. It looks like its all starting to pay off as this week i lost - drum roll please - am amazing 5lbs and got another virtual 7. So look out there will be more comparison pics coming soon of the new me looking even skinnier.

Well here's my new picture for this month - can you see a difference, the one on the top was taken today 2 half stone down, the one on the bottom was taken about 3 weeks after i started WW. Yay go me!

Ok so........................

I know i havn't posted in a couple of weeks. I've been going to the gym at least 3 times a week if not 4. Last week i lost a pound, which was a bit disappointing considering i'd done all that exercise. The following week (weds gone) I'd put on 2lbs, i've know idea where that came from, think i must have been storing water for every woman in the north east. Unless its just my body adjusting to the gym and is finally starting to build some muscle. A sneaky peak this morning suggested i'd lost the 2lbs i'd gain but i'm not taking anything as gospel until weigh day. I'm hoping during half term to take my lovely girl to play some badminton, not something i normally do but thought i might introduce a different sport to her and its something we can do together even if she doesn't manage it should be an hour of fun. Hopefully this week i'll see a loss - lets wait and see.

Less than 100lbs to go now

WI this week - another 3lbs gone i'm so over the moon, this means that i now have under 100lbs to lose, yay!

I've also gone back to the gym and really enjoyed it. I stayed for 50 mins, only went on the bikes and walked uphill on the treadmills but according to the heart rate analysis thingy's my heart rate was in the fat burning zone - so i'm hoping that it'll do some good, i'm planning to go again tomorrow and again next week.
