What a day..................

Didn't really want to get up this morning especially since I didn't go to bed till 2am this morning. Still I got up and got lis ready for school. Planned to have a lazy'ish morning, long hot soak, cuppa that sort of thing.

Then.......................................

Lis said mum is Jack alright he's limping and can't walk properly. Jack is our cat who is nearly 10 years old. He was holding his paw up and would let me check it over, phoned the vets straight away and got in within half an hour. £40 later fingers crossed he's been put right. He had a massive temperature so the vet thinks he may have had an infection somewhere in his leg, so he's had a shot of antibiotics then I asked if he would be in pain, which he could have been so also had a shot of anti-inflammatories. The vet then said I couldn't let him out for 5 days. What a nightmare.

You see, Jack is a bit of a houdini, he once escaped out of the upstairs window when he had to be kept in one time before. So all the windows have been closed, the cat flap blocked up and i've been and bought a litter tray which i'm hoping both him and his sister will use, if he can't go out neither can she. Fingers crossed he's better soon though, he's such a gorgeous cat.
